Meet the all-new Hino 338, a strong and reliable medium duty truck that provides excellent fuel economy and comes jacked with the "High Torque" J-series 7.6L engine to provide truck operators with 260 horsepower and 660 ft-lbs of torque.

Outfitted with an Allison 2500 Rugged Duty Series (RDS) 6-speed automatic transmission with Power Take Off (PTO) capability, a wheelbase that can range from 187" - 271" inches, a 12,000 Ibs front axle capacity, and a 21, 000 Ibs rear axle combination offering a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 33,000 Ibs, the latest 338 can be configured to meet any need or application, no matter how specialized.

Building on its theme of flexibility, the "clean chassis" layout is now available as a standard option with the 338, making it an ideal choice for beverage body and moving van applications.
